The primary purposes of this Association shall be: 1.To represent appropriate employees of the Iowa City Community School District in their employment relations. 2.To work for the improvement of public school conditions and to seek solutions to community problems relating to the schools. 3.To improve the professional, economic, and social status of its members. 4.To improve the welfare of school children, the advancement of education and the improvement of instructional opportunities. 5.To support and strengthen local, Uniserv, State and National Associations through participation and understanding of the programs and goals.

Legislative Forum Summary for Jan. 2014

 

ECUU Member Scholarships – ECUU is once again providing ten $100 scholarships for members who take recertification/graduate/or continuing education courses.  Five of the scholarships are for classes taken last summer or during this fall semester with a submission deadline of Feb. 15, 2014.  The other five are for the spring semester with a deadline of May 15, 2014.  Names will be drawn at random if more than five apply.  Please see the attached document/flier for more information.20132014scholarhsipform
